Library of Congress 2019 National Book Festival in Washington D.C. on August 31

The 19th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. 

The Washington Convention Center is located at 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, D.C.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., more than 140 authors, illustrators and poets will make presentations on stages dedicated to kids, fiction, history, biography, poetry, science and more. Many fascinating thematic programs and panel discussions will be offered throughout the festival. A Main Stage of 4,000 seats will feature seven of the most popular festival authors....
